Description

Since 1963, Boston Ballet has remained one of the foremost dance companies in the world on stage, in the studio and in the community. With the leadership of Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen and Executive Director Barry Hughson, the Company upholds an internationally acclaimed repertoire and the leading ballet school in North America, Boston Ballet School.

Boston Ballet keeps a collection of classical, neo-classical and contemporary works, varying from full-length story ballets to fresh works by several of today's premium choreographers. Boston Ballet's second company, Boston Ballet II, is embraced by pre-professional dancers who achieve experience by performing among the Company and independently, presenting lecture-demonstrations and special programs to spectators all through the Northeast.
