Always Turned On. That’s Atlantic City, a seaside resort and gaming capital of the East Coast that hosts 35 million visitors a year, making it the fourth largest tourist destination in the country. Atlantic City is a thriving destination offering world-renowned casinos and hotels, restaurants, unique attractions, headline entertainment, shopping and much more.
According to the Washington Post, “Atlantic City is dancing to a new beat. And it goes all night.” A part of that ‘new beat’ is The Pier Shops at Caesars, an entertainment, dining and retail complex. Inside, restaurants cater to every taste or budget. Never-before-seen-in-the-region retailers are plentiful. And The Show, a spectacle of light, music and water is something that you have to
see to believe.
After completing an expansion that added casino space and restaurants featuring
famous chefs, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is in the middle of building a 43-story hotel tower named The Water Club with 800 guestrooms and suites, and its own spa and indoor-outdoor swimming pool.
Harrah’s Atlantic City is also expanding. The first phase of the project includes retail stores, the Waterfront Buffet, a Red Door Salon with 24 treatment rooms, and a tropical oasis in the form of The Pool, a 23,000-square-foot indoor pool featuring a 90-foot-high glass dome, with Jacuzzis, cabanas and a pool bar. A new hotel tower in mid-2008 will complete the project.
Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort is also adding a new hotel tower to its offerings. The 39-story tower featuring 786 guest rooms and 70 suites with ocean views will open in 2008. This follows the recent opening of Spice Road, a stylish retail and dining promenade.
Another project in the midst of expanding is Atlantic City Outlets – The Walk. Plans to more than double The Walk’s size are underway. An additional
350,000 square feet of international brand retail stores, restaurants, parking, entertainment and more are being added.
