DAY 1: Quad Cities & Celebration River Cruise
Arrive at Celebration River Cruise for the Captain’s Dinner Cruise, featuring a three entrée buffet that includes carved Prime rib. Musical Entertainment and the beautiful Mississippi River Sunset will complete your relaxing evening (or choose from any of their themed lunch cruises, site seeing or all day cruises). (Overnight at Holiday Inn Express LeClaire or Isle of Capri Hotel & Casino.)
DAY 2: Quad Cities, John Deere Attractions, & Circa 21
Tour the John Deere Pavilion and experience their hands-on GPS Simulator, interactive exhibits, and climb on and sit in a Combine or Cotton Picker. Step back in time with the John Deere Collectors Center, a replica of a 1950’s John Deere Dealership with authentic antique, two-cylinder tractors. You can even watch one in the process of being restored. Then shop at the John Deere Store all located on the John Deere Commons. After having lunch on the Commons, you will head to Circa 21 for an entertaining musical perfect for the whole family to experience. Choose from any of their G rated shows performed especially for youth. After the show, the actors will be in the lobby to meet you, autograph your program, take pictures, etc. Then back to hotel to freshen up and grab your baseball mitts! Tour and enjoy our newly renovated Ball Park. This tour includes a behind-the-scenes tour of our award winning, picturesque, and famous movie site Stadium. It is home to our Quad City River Bandits, farm team to the St. Louis Cardinals. After the tour, enjoy either a traditional stadium picnic or club house dinner, as you take in a game of one of our greatest past-times. *Some nights offer fireworks immediately after the game! (Overnight at Holiday Inn Express LeClaire or Isle of Capri Hotel & Casino.)
DAY 3: Quad Cities
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for some Fun on the Farm at one of our local farms. Personalize your tour with horseshoes, Bee Barn, Corn Maze, Prairie Study Plot, Shop home-made products, U-Pick Pumpkin Patch or Paint your Pumpkin! Have a picnic lunch on-site at their picnic tables and let the grandkids enjoy the play area and tree house. Call the Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau for other itinerary options that could include casinos, botanical gardens, mansions, mustard, chocolate, hot fudge, civil war, factory tours, art, culture & traveling exhibits and boutique shopping.
