DAY 1

Enjoy the world famous Corning Museum of Glass! Following an introduction to The Studio, participants may sample a variety of glass-working techniques and create their own glass objects. You can make a flower at the furnace, fuse sun-catchers in the kiln, and sandblast items in our cold-working shop.

Onto Watkins Glen – a wonderful lake town with quaint shops and the famous Watkin’s Glen International Speedway. Tour the historic speedway and possibly have the motorcoach ride on the track!

Then to Ithaca - check into La Tourelle –Escape to the gorgeous Finger Lakes area at a world-class resort with exceptional personalized service. Located on 70 acres, the resort’s 54 unique guest rooms feature spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

DAY 2

The legend of the grand Erie Canal flows as strongly today as it did when it was opened in 1825. Today you’ll board a barge and travel through the lock as you travel through New York's heartland, gliding past lush farmland, famous battlefields, scenic port towns, and thriving wildlife preserves.

A picnic and stroll to Taughannock Falls will prepare you for a wine tasting at one of the many great Finger Lake wineries. Along the Cayuga Wine Trail we will visit Cayuga Lake's oldest winery (Lucan Winery) where colorful bottles, spectacular labels, the nautical-inspired "Tug Boat" "Nautie" wines have intrigued travelers and wine lovers for more than a quarter of a century!

The largest of the Finger lakes – Lake Cayuga, will be the backdrop to tonight’s dinner cruise. Sunset surrounded by lush greenery will the perfect ending to the day.

DAY 3

Cooperstown is known as the home of The Baseball Hall of Fame, you’ll experience a great tour of the Museum. You will be surprised by all the other beauty that surrounds Cooperstown and the best way to enjoy it is lunch at The Otesaga – a magnificent resort on Lake Otsego.

Mohonk Mountain House will be your home for the next three days. Mohonk – or “lake in the sky” - is a sparkling wonder, tucked away at the top of the Shawangunk Ridge in the Catskill Mountains. Rock formations rise majestically above the water, framing the enchanting, 265-room Victorian castle. This Hudson Valley hotel and mountaintop resort is a famed destination for over 130 years. Tour the award-winning Show Gardens, or lose yourself in the Victorian Maze. Challenge your partner to a tennis match on red-clay and Har-Tru courts. Fish, boat, swim, or just kick back on Lake Mohonk.

We begin with afternoon tea on arrival and then some time to relax, stroll, swim and get ready for a scrumptious five star meal!

DAY 4

Kykuit is the preeminent Hudson Valley landmark – home to four generations of Rockefellers, this extraordinary National Trust landmark has been meticulously maintained for over 100 years. The private collection of original sculpture and art has not been seen by the public in many years and the gardens are amazing. As a bonus you will also visit Phillipsburg Manor, a working farming, milling and trading center – 1750 comes alive for you today.

Cold Spring is a quintessential example of a Hudson River town, lined with boutiques, antique shops and cafés with the mighty Hudson as a backdrop.

Back at your resort, to complete the day, you may have time for a spa treatment!

DAY 5

Free day – Hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing, biking – the list is endless!! How about a picnic for the group along the lake?

DAY 6

On the way home there are three great possible Hudson Valley icons – West Point – the home of America’s premiere military academy, Storm King – a 40 acre sculpture outdoor ‘garden,’ or Woodbury Commons, the area’s premiere designer shopping outlet.
