Cape Town starts our tour along the Atlantic coast viewing seals, seabirds and penquins. We will visit Kirstenbosch and Petoria were we visit the many monumental landmarks and experience six safaris to see big game.

Day 1 Cape Town
At Cape Town we are met by tour guide who will give a short city tour of Cape Town on the way to our hotel. Cape Town is South Africa’s oldest and arguably most attractive city. Known affectionately as the “Mother City”, it was here that Jan van Riebeeck, a Dutchman, developed a victualling station in 1652. (D)
Day 2 Cape Town
Witness the splendour of the Cape Peninsula, as we travel along the Atlantic coast to the beautiful fishing town of Hout Bay to view the seals and seabirds on Duiker Island. The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve with nearly 8,000 hectares of indigenous fynbos (fine bush) has about 1,200 plant species. Next visit a penguin colony and then to the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. From here to Table Mountain and Signal Hill to enjoy the spectacular views. (B,D)
Day 3 Cape Town
After breakfast we will travel to the beautiful town of Stellenbosch, renowned for its Cape Dutch buildings, university and wine. From here to the town of Franschhoek which between 1688 and 1690 land was apportioned to 200 Huguenots fleeing persecution in France and now has several world renown wine estates.(B,D)
Day 4 Cape Town
We will visit Robben Island where the tiny cell in which Nelson Mandela was incarcerated is located. The V & A Waterfront, one of the most popular tourist attractions in South Africa, features to explore on your own the shopping mall, covered craft markets, food emporium, working brewery and the state-of-the-art Two Oceans Aquarium.(B,D)
Day 5 Cape Town-Pretoria
We fly to Johannesburg and proceed Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. A short city tour, visits the Voortrekker Monument to the doughty pioneers, Church Square with its public buildings and the Union Buildings. (B,D)
Day 6 Pretoria-private game reserve (1)
Going to Mpumalanga Province, also known as “Where the sun rises”, we will pass towns such as Witbank ,Middelburg and Dullstroom on our way to a private game reserve. embraceing more than 8 000 hectares of Malaria-free, unspoiled African bushveld. Late afternoon we will enjoy our first game drive – we will have the opportunity to see buffalo, leopard, white rhino, giraffe, zebra, kudu and many other animals and birds. (B,D)
Day 7 Private game reserve-Hazyview
We will explore the amazing natural splendour of the Panorama route, viewing spectacular wonders which provides an endless view, stretching across miles of thickly forested mountains and lush fertile plains. Tonight we will visit the Shangana Cultural Village where we will enjoy traditional food, see a tribal dance and learn more about the Shangana culture. (B,D)
Day 8 Hazyview-private game reserve (2)
We travel to the Kruger National Park to enjoy a half day safari. From here we will travel to another private game reserve home to the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Qualified and enthusiastic rangers will lead us through close and unrestricted encounters with Africa’s big game. (B,L,D)
Day 9 Private game reserve (2)
Today we can experience all the splendour of the African bush. In addition to two open Landrover safaris and guided walks, there are numerous additional activities to do on your own, including elephant back safaris and hot air ballooning. (B,L,D)
Day 10 Private game reserve-Pretoria
Before breakfast, we will enjoy our last game drive. After breakfast, we will take the long road back to Pretoria. This afternoon we will visit the town of Cullinan where the world’s largest diamond (3 025 carats), was discovered in 1905. (B,D)
Day 11 Pretoria
We will visit Soweto, developed for exclusive black occupation under the apartheid system from the early 1950s. Today the population of Soweto is a polyglot community, open to all. Vilakazi Street in Soweto is the only thoroughfare in the world to run past the former homes of two Nobel Peace Prize winners (Nelson Mandela & Desmond Tutu), before flying back home. (B)
