Day 1: Arrive in Winnipeg, MB.
Guests will arrive in Winnipeg at their leisure. Hotel reservations will be made at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, located at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. Guests will participate in a meet and greet with their Interpretive Guide and tour group at the hotel at 9:00 p.m.
Day 2: Depart Winnipeg for Churchill, MB
Guests will depart Winnipeg in the early morning by chartered aircraft. Upon arrival, guests will immediately embark on a town an area guided bus tour of the local and historical points of interest surrounding Churchill, including Cape Merry, Port of Churchill, and Manitoba Conversation’s Polar Bear Holding Facility.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at one of the famed local restaurants. Guests will then participate in a Parks Canada presentation, which includes detailed and exciting wildlife dioramas, fur trade exhibits, and a series of videos on the history, culture and wildlife of the area. Guests will then check into their hotel and enjoy a quiet evening to shop and explore more unscheduled attractions in town.
Day 3: Churchill, MB
Breakfast can be enjoyed at leisure at one of the local restaurants of choice. Guests will meet in the hotel lobby in the morning for transfer to the Tundra Buggy Launch area for their full-day Tundra Buggy Adventure. Guests will search for polar bears and other wildlife out on the tundra, and enjoy a picnic style lunch and refreshments. Guests will return back to town around 5:00 p.m. and will have the rest of the evening free to enjoy at their leisure.
Day 4: Churchill, MB
Breakfast can be enjoyed at leisure at one of the local restaurants of choice. Guests will then visit the Eskimo Museum which contains one of Canada's finest collections of Inuit carvings, kayaks and artifacts dating from pre- Dorset, Dorset, Thule, and modern Inuit times. The group will then participate in half-day authentic dog-sled excursion hosted by a local resident and dog sledding expert. Guests will enjoy an exhilarating ride behind a strong team of huskies on a custom-made sled through the northern boreal forest, and will be served hot chocolate and freshly made bannock. The group will return to town and will have the opportunity to enjoy dinner at their leisure. Guests will then participate in a slide presentation featuring the four beautiful seasons of Churchill.
Day 5: Churchill, MB – Winnipeg, MB
Breakfast can be enjoyed at leisure at one of the local restaurants of choice. Guests will meet in the hotel lobby in the morning for transfer to the Tundra Buggy Launch area for their full-day Tundra Buggy Adventure. Guests will search for polar bears and other wildlife out on the tundra, and enjoy a picnic style lunch and refreshments. Guests will return back to town in time for their chartered flight departure from Churchill. Guests will arrive in Winnipeg in the evening and will have an overnight stay at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, located at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
Day 6: Depart Winnipeg, MB
Guests will depart Winnipeg at their leisure.
