DAY 1: Wyomissing
Arrive at the original VF Outlet Shopping Village. Choose from over 75
outlet stores with WOW prices. Free coupon books, shopping bags,
and directories for the entire group. Find out why America’s original
outlet center is still the favorite place to shop and save. Arrive at hotel
for a leisurely check-in. Dinner at hotel or a local restaurant.
DAY 2: Reading
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for tour of the GoggleWorks Centre, one of
the largest, most comprehensive interactive community arts and cultural
centers in the country. Try hands-on classes in jewelry making,
pottery, glass blowing and painting. Explore the art exhibits. Have
lunch at the Speckled Hen, an authentic English pub. Then take a ride
and enjoy the hex barn tour or covered bridge tour. Enjoy dinner at
The Works restaurant, which offers food & drink specials, entertainment,
and over 160 state-of-the-art games.
DAY 3: Berks County
Breakfast at the hotel. Off to the Berks County Wine Trail. You are invited
to visit one of the nine family-owned wineries that will welcome you
with warm hospitality and tastes of wonderful wines. Visit unique tasting
rooms located in basements, restored barns and elegant gift shops.
