Four national parks highlight this 13-day vacation. Begin in Seattle for sightseeing before traveling to the resort city of Kelowna for a visit to a family-owned orchard. Onto Glacier National Park for panoramic vistas and Yoho National Park with its Natural Bridge. Enter Alberta and Banff National Park, the scenic heart of the Canadian Rockies. Sightseeing and free time in Banff, including a gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain.

DAY 1: Seattle
(Sun.) This evening is the welcome reception, where you will learn more
about your upcoming adventure. [WR]
DAY 2: Seattle–Kelowna
(Mon.) A sightseeing tour of Seattle introduces you to the Emerald City
before traveling to the resort city of Kelowna. Arrive at the Grand
Okanagan, the area’s premier lakefront resort. [B]
DAY 3: Kelowna–Glacier–Yoho–Banff
(Tue.) Enjoy a visit to one of the largest family-owned orchards in Canada.
Then travel to Canada’s Glacier National Park to enjoy panoramic vistas of
towering peaks, before continuing to Yoho National Park to view Natural
Bridge and scale Kicking Horse Pass. The day ends in the province of
Alberta and Banff National Park, the heart of the Canadian Rockies. [B,D]
DAY 4: Banff National Park
(Wed.) Sightseeing today includes a ride on the gondola up Sulphur
Mountain followed by a day at leisure. In the evening, join our optional
excursion to the Oh Canada Eh? dinner show. [B]
DAY 5: Banff–Lake Louise–Columbia Icefield–Jasper
(Thu.) Follow Icefields Parkway to scenic Lake Louise and then on to an
ICE EXPLORER RIDE on the Columbia Icefield. The day finishes at Jasper
National Park with time for an optional float trip down the historic
Athabasca River. [B,D]
DAY 6: Jasper
(Fri.) A short sightseeing tour to see Jasper, followed by a narrated cruise
on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island and to view Maligne Canyon. Balance of
the day is at leisure. [B]
DAY 7: Jasper–Mount Robson–Sun Peaks
(Sat.) Head back into British Columbia past the Rockies’ highest point
along a fur trappers’ route to SUN PEAKS with the balance of the day at
leisure. You may take advantage of an optional canoe trip on Lake
McGilvary, subject to the weather. [B]
DAY 8: Sun Peaks–Whistler
(Sun.) Journey south today through the heart of British Columbia’s magnificent
interior to the alpine resort of WHISTLER, site of the 2010 Winter
Olympics, with the balance of the day at leisure. [B]
DAY 9: Whistler–Gulf Islands–Victoria
(Mon.) Depart Whistler for the Pacific coastline. Sail this afternoon across
the Strait of Georgia to VICTORIA. Sightseeing today includes the Inner
Harbour, Bastion Square, and Thunderbird Park with its historic collection
of totem poles. [B,D]
DAY 10: Victoria
(Tue.) Full day at leisure to enjoy the Royal British Columbia Museum and
afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel, or one of our optional excursions. [B]
DAY 11: Victoria–Vancouver
(Wed.) This morning, visit Butchart Gardens, 50 acres of floral extravagance
subdivided into different themes. Afterward, ferry to VANCOUVER for a
city tour including the harbor, historic Gastown, and Stanley Park. [B]
DAY 12: Vancouver–Seattle
(Thu.) Some time at leisure before traveling to Seattle for free time before
your special Farewell Dinner at Seattle’s Space Needle, a perfect finale.

DAY 13: Seattle
(Fri.) The vacation ends after breakfast with departures via provided airport transfers. [B]
