Day 1: Valdosta
Arrive in Valdosta early afternoon. Bebo’s Tours will pick you up at your hotel and give a historic guided tour complete with a stop at the South Georgia Pecan Gift Shop. After refreshing at the hotel, head over to Peach State Summer Theatre to see Singin’ in the Rain.
DAY 2: Valdosta
After breakfast at the hotel head over to the Lowndes County Historical Museum to step back in time and learn about Valdosta from Doc Holliday (Valdosta was his boyhood home). After learning from the good doctor, stop by the Crescent House and gardens for a tour and Coca¬Cola party with heavy hors d’oeuvres for lunch. Spend the afternoon shopping in downtown and enjoy dinner and music to end the evening.
DAY 3: Thomasville
After breakfast in Valdosta, head over to Thomasville to Pebble Hill Plantation, where you can enjoy a grounds tour and lunch with items from Miss Pansy Poe’s picnic menu. Stop by the Visitors Center for a step¬on guide tour of historic homes and sites.
DAY 4: Thomasville
Have a relaxing morning and then go over to the Lapham-Patterson House for their “Grand Winter Cottage” Tour. After the tour, go down¬town for lunch at George & Louie’s, a local favorite that serves home¬made seafood and Greek salads. After lunch, check out the shops downtown and head for home.
