DAY 1 – Arrive Myrtle Beach
Arrive at an oceanfront property in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with our staff greeting and welcome reception. Tonight’s activities begin with a wide selection of delicious food at Giant Crab or Bennett’s Seafood Restaurant, then onto Barefoot Landing to enjoy “South’s Grandest Christmas Show” at The Alabama Theatre, celebrating over 10 years entertaining America! DAY 2 – Ripley’s Aquarium / New Years Celebration
Enjoy a full breakfast at the hotel followed by free time relaxing in the hotel’s pool or a nice walk of the beach. Later, we’re off to Ripley’s Aquarium located in Broadway at the Beach for a unique visit to “South Carolina’s most visited attraction” complete with Southern-Style Afternoon Tea, the 2008 “Festival of Trees”, hourly dive shows, and much more. We will also have time to shop at Broadway at the Beach. After freshening up for this special evening, the New Year’s Celebration in the hotel ballroom begins with all the finery including served dinner, dancing with a big band orchestra, horn blowers, party favors, hats, large screen TVs to watch the countdown and ball drop in Time Square with “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve Special,” all the glitzy decorations to “Ring in the New Year!” and a special midnight champagne toast! DAY 3 – Medieval Times
Enjoy a full breakfast at the hotel and time to “sleep in” from the big night as well as spend free time relaxing in the hotel’s pool or sightseeing and more shopping and lunch on own. The evening starts by experiencing the excitement at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. During the live performance, guests of “the castle” enjoy an authentic medieval feast while the majesty and grandeur of a time long past comes to life! (B, D)
DAY 4 – House of Blues / Return Home
Start the morning with the Southern-Style Gospel Brunch and inspirational, “hand-clappin’” entertainment at the award-winning House of Blues. Its and uplifting send off! Later, depart for home. (B)
