DAY 1: Departure from the USA. Overnight flight
DAY 2: Holland
Arrive at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. Meet your tour manager and
transfer to your hotel in Lelystad.
DAY 3: Holland
Day of leisure to explore Holland. The 'Grand Holland' optional excursion
begins with a drive through Holland's countryside and a stop at a picturesque
Dutch village. Continue to Amsterdam for free time and a boat ride
through the canals. Dine at your hotel.
DAY 4: Belgium
Visit historic Antwerp and an American WWII Cemetery. Overnight in
Heerlen, near the Belgian/Dutch/German border.
DAY 5: Germany
Cross the border into Germany's North Rhine area. At Boppard, begin your
cruise of the castle-lined Rhine River. Then tour the old town and castle of
Heidelberg. Overnight in Mannheim, Germany.
DAY 6: Germany
Sleepy little villages, majestic fortresses and timeless castles enhance the
scenery before and after the morning stop. Then it's on to Rothenburg,
Europe's best-preserved medieval city. After lunch and an afternoon stop,
travel to Augsburg, Germany.
DAY 7: Germany
Morning sightseeing and an independent lunch in the Bavarian capital of
Munich. Afternoon in Austria's Imperial City of Innsbruck. Overnight in an
Alpine village near Innsbruck.
DAY 8: Austria
A free day to explore Tyrol, Innsbruck, and the scenic surroundings. On
the 'Bavarian Castle' optional excursion, you will walk through the
Linderhof Castle in Bavaria and visit the Passion Play town of
Oberammergau. Also make a photo stop with a picture-perfect view of
the famous Neuschwanstein Castle before heading back to your hotel.
Optional 'Tyrolean Dinner'.
DAY 9: Italy
Continue across the spectacular Brenner Pass and through the Alps. Stop in
Vipiteno and Lake Garda before reaching Bussolengo, Italy.
DAY 10: Italy
Spend the day in Bussolengo, Verona, or the Lake Garda Region. On the
'Verona & Venice' optional excursion, visit legendary Verona with a lunch
stop on the way to the romantic city of Venice, and return to Bussolengo
in the evening.
DAY 11: Switzerland
Cross the border into Switzerland. Leisurely break in Lugano, 'Rio of the
Old Continent'. Continue through William Tell country and overnight in the
Lake Lucerne Region.
DAY 12: Switzerland
Stop in Stans this morning. 'Swiss Mountain' optional. Afternoon sightseeing
in Lucerne. At a leisurely time, return to your hotel in the Lake Lucerne
Region. Optional 'Swiss Lake Boat Ride & Dinner'.
DAY 13: France
Cross the French border into the wine country of the Burgundy region.
Lunch stop in Beaune. Proceed past Nancy and on to Auxerre, France.
DAY 14: France
Auxerre on to Paris to spend your final afternoon and evening in the City
of Lights. Your tour manager will offer an optional 'Seine River Cruise &
Eiffel Tower' excursion in the afternoon and an optional 'Paris Evening'
excursion.
DAY 15: Fly back to the U.S.A. from Paris'
