Group Travel Ideas
Visitors
to Orlando, the “theme park capitol of the world” will also find that
this is an easy place for groups to have a good time. So many
attractions in this area are geared to groups, so the main problem you
will have in planning group travel to this area is deciding what the
people in your group would like to see first! There is more to see in
Orlando besides theme parks though, so if your group enjoys shopping,
golf, spas, or just relaxing by the pool, Orlando is the place for you!
Orlando
Group Attractions
Your
group can choose among the four separate theme parks that make up Walt
Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Discovery Cove, Holy Land
Experience and other theme parks – or visit them all! Shopping is a
treat you won’t want to miss. There are malls, specialty shops, factory
and outlet stores to explore. Some of the most well known include the
Mall at Millenia, Florida Mall, Orlando Premium Outlets, and Lake Buena
Vista Factory Stores. Other attractions include daily performances of
the Cirque du Soleil, the beautiful and lush Harry P. Leu Gardens, and
the many venues on International Drive. It has been noted that a group
could literally spend their complete trip on this particular road and
never run out of activities to do and things to see! A public
transportation trolley called the I-Ride runs from early in the day
until midnight, helping tourists navigate the 14 mile stretch. You can
also take a bus from the trolley stop directly to Disney Word’s
transportation center. Orlando group attractions, things to

Group
Dining
Several
fantastic restaurants in the Orlando area welcome groups. A few of the
best are Emeril’s Restaurant Orlando, serving imaginative American and
Continental entrees much like the ones you have probably seen prepared
on television, Bergamo’s Italian restaurant, which not only offers fine
food but nightly entertainment as well, and Kres Chop House and Lounge,
THE place in downtown Orlando for excellent steak, seafood, and
sandwiches. Reservations are suggested for all of these restaurants.
There are also over 150 restaurants on International Drive; many are
group friendly.

Hilton Garden Inn, one-half mile from Universal Studios Florida and
